OPD Concierge & Patient Escort Executive

Reporting To: LabBuddy Operations Manager / Concierge Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Objective

To provide personalized, end-to-end assistance to OPD patients and their attendants, ensuring a convenient and well-coordinated hospital experience from arrival through consultation, investigations, billing, pharmacy, and exit.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Reception & Assistance

* Welcome OPD patients and their attendants.

* Assist with registration, appointments, and consultation formalities.

* Provide priority assistance to elderly, differently abled, and patients requiring additional support.

* Act as a dedicated point of contact for assigned patients.

2. Physical Patient Escorting

* Personally accompany patients to OPD consultation rooms, diagnostic departments, billing counters, pharmacy, and other required hospital locations.

* Assist patients in navigating different floors and hospital departments.

* Coordinate wheelchairs, stretchers, and mobility support through authorized hospital staff.

* Ensure safe and comfortable movement of patients without performing clinical handling beyond training and authorization.

3. Consultation & Diagnostic Coordination

* Coordinate with OPD reception, doctors assistants, nursing teams, and diagnostic departments.

* Assist with pathology and radiology appointments and investigations.

* Facilitate authorized LabBuddy diagnostic bookings and home sample collection.

* Follow up on reports, pending appointments, and service requests.

4. Patient Concierge Services





* Help patients complete administrative and billing formalities.

* Coordinate with hospital departments to minimize unnecessary waiting and repeated visits.

* Assist patients and attendants with information about hospital facilities.

* Support patients until their required OPD services are completed.

5. LabBuddy Service Facilitation

* Introduce LabBuddy’s authorized diagnostic, preventive healthcare, and home collection services.

* Help interested patients with bookings and app registration.

* Facilitate post-consultation diagnostic and healthcare requirements.

* Maintain transparent pricing and ethical service practices.

6. Patient Experience & Complaint Handling

* Respond promptly and courteously to patient requests.

* Coordinate resolution of service delays and operational concerns.

* Escalate medical issues immediately to hospital clinical staff.

* Collect feedback and report recurring patient difficulties.

7. Reporting & Coordination

* Maintain daily records of patients assisted and escorted.

* Track diagnostic enquiries, bookings, and completed services.

* Coordinate with hospital representatives and LabBuddy operations.

* Submit daily activity and performance reports.

Qualification & Experience

* Graduate in any discipline; hospital administration or hospitality preferred.





* 0–3 years of experience in patient care coordination, hospital concierge, front office, or hospitality.

* Freshers with good communication and patient-handling skills may apply.

* Good command of Hindi and basic conversational English.

* Physically capable of walking and accompanying patients across hospital departments, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.

Essential Skills

* Empathy, patience, and courteous communication.

* Professional grooming and presentation.

* Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.

* Familiarity with hospital OPD workflows.

* Ability to manage multiple patient requests.

* Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.

* Service orientation with ethical business awareness.

* Number of OPD patients assisted and physically escorted.

* Patient satisfaction and feedback.

* Response time and service completion.

* Successful coordination of consultations and investigations.

* LabBuddy service enquiries and confirmed bookings.

* Daily reporting accuracy.

* Compliance with hospital SOPs and patient confidentiality.

Professional Conduct

The executive must follow hospital protocols, maintain patient privacy, obtain appropriate consent, and never interfere with clinical decisions. LabBuddy services may only be offered within the scope approved by the partner hospital. No unauthorized patient diversion, financial collection, or preferential clinical access is permitted.
