Position: Knitting Manager (Domestic Grey Fabric)

Location: Tamil Nadu

Experience: 5-10 years of experience in knitting operations, preferably in domestic grey fabric manufacturing.

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering preferred.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Knitting Manager to oversee domestic grey fabric production, ensuring production efficiency, fabric quality, optimum machine utilization, and timely order delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and monitor knitting production as per customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Manage circular knitting machines and optimize machine utilization and efficiency.
- Ensure fabric quality as per required GSM, gauge, diameter, loop length, and construction.
- Control fabric defects, yarn wastage, production costs,



and machine downtime.
- Coordinate with yarn stores, quality, maintenance, dyeing, and merchandising teams.
- Manage manpower, shift schedules, and daily production reporting.
- Implement process improvements and ensure workplace safety and housekeeping.
- Solid technical knowledge of circular knitting machines, yarn quality, fabric construction, and production planning.
