Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking a versatile Lead Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our organization's IT infrastructure across a hybrid Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 setting. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience administering both ecosystems, ensuring reliable, secure, and well-integrated systems for end users, while managing identity, collaboration tools, endpoints, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer Google Workspace (Gmail, GDrive, Calendar, Docs/Sheets/Slides, Google Apps, Admin Console)
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Admin Center)
- Manage Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager for device compliance, configuration profiles, and app deployment
- Manage user provisioning, groups, organizational units (OUs), and licensing
- Manage shared drives, sharing permissions, and data governance policies
- Manage Azure Active Directory / Entra ID: users, groups, licensing, conditional access policies, and MFA
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and DNS/DHCP (if applicable)
- Manage mobile device management and endpoint verification for Workspace users
- Manage hybrid identity scenarios (e.g., directory sync, SSO between Google and Microsoft ecosystems)
- Coordinate license management and cost optimization across both platforms




- Ensure consistent security policies (MFA, conditional access, DLP) across both environments
- Support integrations between Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and third-party applications (HRIS, SSO providers, ticketing systems)
- Troubleshoot cross-platform issues (e.g., calendar/email interoperability, file sharing between ecosystems)

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration
- Hands-on experience administering both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365/Azure AD environments
- Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
- Familiarity with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Google Apps Script)
- Experience with MDM/UEM tools (Intune, Jamf, Google Endpoint Management, or similar)
- Understanding of identity and access management, MFA, and conditional access

Preferred Qualifications:

- Microsoft certification (MS-102, AZ-104, or Modern Desktop Administrator)
- Google Workspace Administrator certification
- Experience with GCP and/or Azure cloud infrastructure
- Experience with SSO/identity providers (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID)
