Position: Senior Design & Estimation Engineer – MEP / Fire & Safety

Location: Edappally, Kochi

Qualification: BTech / BE / Diploma in Mechanical, Fire & Safety or related Engineering discipline

Experience: Relevant experience in MEP / Fire Protection & Safety

Salary: 6 LPA - 12 LPA

Job Description:
Looking for an experienced Senior Design & Estimation Engineer to handle the design and estimation of fire protection systems. The candidate should have good technical knowledge of fire fighting systems, AutoCAD, NFPA standards, hydraulic calculations and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, hose reels and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings, hydraulic calculations, BOQs and material take-offs.
- Prepare cost estimates, quotations and technical proposals.
- Review tender documents, drawings and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA,



NBC and applicable fire safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and project teams.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations and support material selection.
- Provide technical support to project execution teams.
- Lead and coordinate the design and estimation team.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Fire Protection System Design & Estimation.
- Good knowledge of fire fighting, sprinkler, hydrant, fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and hydraulic calculations.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation and material take-offs.
- Valuable communication, analytical and team management skills.
