- Analyze material usage, purchase price, labor efficiency, overhead absorption, scrap, rework, and other manufacturing variances; investigate root causes with Operations.
- Evaluate standard costs, labor and overhead rates, BOMs, routings, and production assumptions; recommend corrections and improvements for approval and execution by the responsible teams.
- Partner with production management at PW in Tianjin and remotely with XMA-US to understand operational performance, challenge assumptions, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Develop and validate product cost estimates for recent products, custom configurations, and Sales quotations, considering material, labor, overhead, volume, sourcing, and applicable tariffs.
