- Cloud incident response investigations, including analysis of logs, threat detection, containment, and remediation.
- Develop and maintain cloud detection rules and monitoring use cases using logs such as Cloud Trail, VPC Flow Logs, Guard Duty, Azure Activity Logs, and Azure AD logs.
- Build and maintain automation and security orchestration workflows to improve incident response and threat detection.
- Develop playbooks and runbooks for cloud security incidents.
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic analysis in cloud environments.
- Support compliance requirements and security standards related to cloud infrastructure.
- Utilizes AI-enabled tools (e.g., chatbots, documentation automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards
Required Experience
- 6+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on cloud-native security in AWS and/or Azure
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and securing cloud-native applications
- Hands-on experience with modern security platforms
- Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality.
- Ability to leverage AI to ideate, develop and scale to the needs of the department.
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ‑500)
- AWS Certified Security Specialty
- Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
