Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Billing Center Architect with strong expertise in Billing Center, P&C; Insurance, and Guidewire architecture. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable billing solutions, providing technical leadership, and driving successful Billing Center implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Guidewire Billing Center solutions.
- Translate business and billing requirements into scalable and maintainable Billing Center solutions.
- Design and configure billing accounts, invoices, payments, payment plans, collections, delinquency, and financial transactions.
- Develop and customize Gosu-based Billing Center components and configurations.
- Design and review integrations between Billing Center and Policy Center, Claim Center, payment gateways, financial systems, and third-party applications.
- Define technical architecture, integration patterns, data flows, and solution approaches for complex implementations.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, estimation, troubleshooting, and technical guidance.
- Analyze and resolve complex Billing Center issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure solutions follow Guidewire best practices, architecture standards, security requirements, and performance guidelines.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners,



QA teams, developers, architects, and client stakeholders.
- Mentor development teams and drive technical quality throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Billing Center.
- Expertise in Billing Center configuration, Gosu, data model, workflows, and billing processes.
- Strong understanding of billing accounts, invoices, payments, payment plans, delinquency, collections, and financial transactions.
- Experience with Billing Center integrations, APIs, web services, and external payment/financial systems.
- Solid understanding of P&C; Insurance and Guidewire Insurance Suite architecture.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and solution-design capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Guidewire ACE Certification is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working as a Billing Center Architect / Technical Lead on multiple end-to-end implementations.
- Experience with Billing Center Cloud implementations and modernization initiatives.
- Strong experience integrating Billing Center with Policy Center, Claim Center, payment gateways, and enterprise financial systems.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and work directly with clients.
