Job Description

The Price Discrepancy Analyst is responsible for managing customer short-payments (DZs). A key function of this role is to identify trends for specific customers, districts, and reason codes and to drive the organization towards prevention of future DZs.

The Price Discrepancy Analyst will work with other departments (mainly Sales and Customer Service) to identify opportunities for improvement with the goal of billing customers correctly.

This role with also work closely with PLM, Credit, and Customers.

The Price Discrepancy Analysts will utilize extensive SAP research, reports, and data to work on open DZs and determining root cause. T

hey will also review historical data and report out to the organization what the trends are and where our focus needs to be to drive the error rate down.

Price Discrepancy Analysts are aligned by LOB and with specific districts. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue invoices and initiate timely follow-ups.

• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes impacting payments Investigate and resolve customer disputes related to billing, pricing, short payments, or deductions.





• Document all disputes and resolutions in the system for audit and reference.

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to expedite dispute resolution.

• Track and report recurring issues to support process improvement initiatives Perform month-end AR closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and aging analysis

Qualifications

Prior work experience- 6-8+ years preferable

•Bachelor’s degree required

•Experience in SAP and MS Office is mandatory

•Prior work experience with utilizing analytical skills

•Ability to research customer short-payments and analyze data to determine root cause and trend analysis

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work with multiple internal departments and customers

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and detail

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle high-volume transactions.

• Exposure to shared services or multinational environments preferred
