Job Title: Assistant Manager – KAM Sales (Sales GI)
Location: Chennai
Number of Positions: 1

Responsibilities and Functions

- Manage OEM-based sales for the General Industry segment.

- Handle front-end sales activities, focusing on General Industry OEMs.

- Develop and manage customer relationships across industrial product segments, particularly Agriculture and Construction.

- Plan and prioritise sales activities and customer engagements to achieve agreed business objectives, sales targets and cost objectives.

- Drive new customer acquisition while strengthening relationships with existing customers.

- Track customer information, sales pipelines, business forecasts and performance reports.

- Manage current RFQs, including product costing and commercial submissions.

- Prepare Sales MIS reports and customer presentations to support new business development.

- Develop and maintain business forecasts for assigned accounts.

- Monitor sales performance against budgets,



analyse variances and evaluate market share across specific OEM models and competitors.

- Manage key accounts and drive sales growth through effective customer relationship management.

Job Skills & Competencies

- Strong process and product knowledge.

- Experience in managing front-end sales activities.

- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills.

- Data-driven approach with strong technical understanding.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Education

- B.E./B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

- 8+ years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or industrial products sector.
