Job Description
Job Title: Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) Mechanic
Industry: Automobile / Transport / Fleet Maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns accurately and complete repairs efficiently
• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on commercial buses
• Carry out major repairs and component replacements including engines, gearboxes, and drive train parts
• Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with ISO standards and local government safety regulations
• Maintain accurate service records and follow workshop procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
RequirementsEducation & Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering
• Master’s degree is an added advantage
• ITI or equivalent vocational training with relevant experience will be considered
Experience & Skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a qualified workshop environment




• Hands-on experience with heavy vehicles such as buses and trucks
• Proven experience in engine and gearbox replacement procedures
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Candidates who have abroad work experience are preferred.
