Key Responsibilities
· Assess the Azure tenant,
subscription and landing-zone prerequisites for the Citrix implementation.
· Design
subscription/resource-group structure, regions, availability, naming, tagging,
policy and RBAC controls.
· Define network architecture
including hub-spoke connectivity, routing, DNS, firewall, private access and
service endpoints.
· Design compute, storage, Azure
Files/profile storage, backup, monitoring and disaster-recovery components.
· Define identity integration
with Entra ID, managed identities, privileged access and Conditional Access
dependencies.
· Align the Azure design with
security, compliance, cost-management, logging and operational requirements.
· Validate readiness, resilience,
performance and supportability before migration and production approval.
On-Premises to Cloud Migration Capabilities
· Assess on-premises
connectivity, IP ranges, DNS, identity, firewall flows, latency, bandwidth,
storage and security dependencies affecting migration.
· Design hybrid connectivity and
coexistence patterns using approved enterprise network services during
transition.
· Define Azure landing-zone
readiness, subscription capacity, quotas, RBAC, policies and resource-provider
prerequisites for migration waves.
· Design migration patterns for
required Windows workloads, profile data, shared storage and supporting
services, including backup and recovery.
· Plan network and identity
cutover, routing changes, name resolution, monitoring, logging and rollback
controls.
· Validate Azure capacity,
performance, availability, cost assumptions and security posture before each
migration stage. Define retirement dependencies for temporary
hybrid services once migration and operational acceptance are complete
