Role Purpose

Drive factory KPIs, commercial operations, costing, inventory control, and financial governance for factory operations. This includes keeping reporting accurate, optimizing costs, and supporting business decision-making.

.Key Responsibilities Factory Commercial Operations

- Drive factory commercial operations, including costing, inventory accounting, production accounting and financial controls.
- Ensure all factory SOPs are followed and regularly assessed.
- Maintain accurate, well-organized records of all commercial transactions.

Costing & Cost Control

- Monitor and analyze unit-level costs, keeping them within budget.
- Focus on controlling the factory’s variable and fixed costs.
- Monitor material consumption, BOM variances, and inventory reconciliation.
- Lead and support cost optimization and cost reduction initiatives.

Finance MIS & Reporting

- Ensure factory MIS, product costing, profitability analysis, and monthly financial reporting are accurate and delivered on time.
- Give senior management insightful analysis to support short-term and long-term decisions.

Budgeting & Capex

- Support budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations.
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals for the factory.

Stakeholder & Audit Management

- Coordinate with the Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Stores,



Factory Commercial and Head Office Finance teams to keep commercial governance effective and achieve factory KPIs.
- Handle statutory and internal audits and maintain positive working relationships with auditors.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualified CA or CMA (ICWA/ICMA) with 4–9 years of post-qualification experience.
- Factory or manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of product costing, production and inventory accounting, MIS, and budgeting.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Hands-on SAP experience, with advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and confident in handling audits.
