Role: Presales Cybersecurity Consultant

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and technical Presales Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Bangalore office on an onsite basis. In this role, you will act as the primary technical bridge between client requirements and Mitigata's cyber resilience offerings. You will partner closely with our sales team to drive revenue by leading technical discussions, architecting customized managed security solutions (SOC, EDR, SIEM, VAPT, GRC), delivering high-impact product demos, and evaluating risk profiles for prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Technical Discovery: Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective clients (CISOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and Risk Officers) to evaluate their security stack, attack surface, and compliance posture. Architect end-to-end cyber resilience packages combining 24x7 Managed SOC/SIEM, EDR/XDR, Vulnerability Management (VAPT), GRC, and Cyber Risk Quantification. Map customer technical requirements to Mitigata's shared, hybrid, or dedicated SOC operating models.
2. Sales Enablement & Proposals: Prepare technical proposals, statements of work (SOWs), solution architectures, and commercial pricing models. Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring all technical, compliance, and deployment queries are answered with precision. Support bid management and work closely with OEM partners (EDR, Firewall, Cloud Security vendors) for integrated solution alignment.
3. Product Demos & Proof of Concept (PoC): Deliver engaging solution presentations and product demonstrations of Mitigata's managed security platform and dashboards. Scope, lead, and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs)



to showcase real-time threat detection, alert triage, and risk quantification capabilities.
4. Compliance & Risk Translation: Translate complex cyber risk and technical vulnerabilities into business impact language for C-level executives. Guide clients on mapping security controls to regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SEBI CSCRF, RBI guidelines, DPDP Act 2023).

Requirements & Qualifications

- Work Mode: 100% Onsite from our Bangalore office.
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity Presales, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Managed Security Services (MSSP), SOC operations, SIEM/EDR/XDR, Cloud Security (AWS/Azure), Network Security, and VAPT.
- Compliance Exposure: Working knowledge of security standards and regulations like ISO 27001, SOC 2, SEBI CSCRF, or DPDP 2023.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation, communication, and client-facing skills with an ability to present to both technical teams and executive leadership.
- RFP/RFI Mastery: Proven track record of drafting technical proposals, SOWs, and clearing RFP evaluation rounds.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related engineering fields.

Preferred / Good to Have:

- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or AWS Security Specialty.
- Prior experience in an MSSP, managed SOC provider, or cybersecurity consulting firm.
- Exposure to cyber risk quantification or cyber insurance mechanisms.
