Mechanical Experience Openings Jabsons Plant, Bharuch & Bhrigu Plant, Varediya Food Manufacturing Job purpose Location 5–7 Years 2 The Senior Executive – Production will support and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations at the plant to ensure safe, effective and timely production of food products. The role focuses on achieving production targets, maintaining product quality and food safety standards, optimizing manpower and resources, and driving continuous improvement. Key responsibilities • Plan, execute and monitor daily production activities in line with the production plan, dispatch requirements and defined schedules. • Achieve production targets for quantity, quality, yield and efficiency while minimizing wastage, rework and downtime. • Supervise production-line operations, allocate manpower and ensure effective utilization of machines, materials and other resources. • Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions and process specifications. • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, GMP, HACCP and applicable quality standards. • Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Stores, Procurement and Dispatch teams to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth production flow. • Identify production bottlenecks, equipment-related issues and process deviations; coordinate corrective and preventive actions.



• Maintain production records, shift reports, downtime reports, material consumption, yield data and other operational documentation. • Train, guide and monitor operators and workmen on process requirements, safety practices, hygiene and productivity expectations. • Support implementation of 5S, waste reduction, cost control and continuous-improvement initiatives. • Ensure safe working practices and compliance with plant policies; promptly report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions. Required skills and competencies • Good understanding of food manufacturing processes, production planning and shop-floor operations. • Knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP, hygiene and quality-control practices. • Production monitoring, manpower handling and team-coordination skills. • Problem-solving, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities. • Ability to track production KPIs such as output, yield, rejection, wastage and machine downtime. Candidate profile Candidates with 5–7 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment will be preferred.
