Job Description: Lab Technician Job Overview: A Lab Technician is responsible for performing laboratory tests, handling laboratory equipment, preparing samples, and maintaining accurate test records. The role involves assisting doctors, scientists, or other laboratory professionals in conducting tests and analyzing samples while following proper safety and hygiene procedures. Main Responsibilities 1. Collect, receive, and prepare samples for laboratory testing. 2. Perform routine laboratory tests according to established procedures. 3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment. 4. Label, organize, and store samples properly. 5. Record test results accurately in the laboratory system. 6. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laboratory. 7. Follow laboratory safety rules and guidelines. 8. Check equipment and report technical problems. 9. Maintain laboratory records and documentation. 10. Assist senior technicians and laboratory professionals when required.
