Procurement Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities
Identify and procure construction materials as per project requirements.
Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for material planning.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
Identify and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Ensure timely delivery of quality materials within the approved budget.
Monitor purchase orders, material stock, and inventory records.
Verify material specifications, quality, and quantity.
Maintain purchase bills, invoices, and procurement documentation.
Control procurement costs and avoid material wastage.
Coordinate with accounts and site teams for purchase and payment processing.
Maintain material accounts, purchase records, stock registers, and consumption reports.
