We are looking for a responsible and qualified Registered Pharmacist for a medical store attached to a psychiatry clinic in Chinchwad, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medicines accurately under applicable pharmacy regulations.
Verify prescriptions and provide appropriate instructions regarding medicine use.
Maintain proper records of medicine purchases, sales, and stock.
Manage inventory and monitor stock levels.
Check medicine expiry dates regularly and ensure proper storage of medicines.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy.
Handle billing and routine pharmacy-related documentation.
Coordinate with medicine distributors and suppliers for stock requirements.
Maintain refrigerator/storage temperature where required.
Follow Maharashtra FDA requirements and other applicable pharmacy regulations.
Maintain qualified and courteous communication with patients.
Maintain confidentiality regarding patients and their prescriptions.
Qualification
D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
Experience
Previous experience in a retail medical store/pharmacy is preferred.
Freshers with valid pharmacist registration may also apply.
Basic computer knowledge and experience with pharmacy billing software will be an advantage.
