Position: Foundry Quality Engineer
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Foundry Quality Engineer to strengthen our quality team and ensure our products consistently meet customer and automotive industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspection of foundry products.
Understand engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements for inspection.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 quality management system requirements.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and process reports.
Perform calibration and verification of measuring and inspection instruments.
Conduct dimensional inspections using standard measuring equipment.
Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with Production and Process teams to resolve quality concerns.
Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production, or related Engineering.
2–3 years of experience in foundry or automotive manufacturing quality.
Positive understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
Working knowledge of IATF 16949 documentation.
Experience using inspection and measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other quality equipment.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
