About the Role

As a CNC Operator, you will set up, run, and monitor computer numerical control machines to produce precision components for [industry, e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical devices]. You will work from engineering drawings and CAD/CAM programs, ensure every part meets tolerance, and keep production moving safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or machining centers according to production schedules
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
Load and unload tooling, fixtures, and raw materials; select correct cutting tools and speeds/feeds
Load, edit, and verify CNC programs; make minor program adjustments at the machine
Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM or other measuring equipment
Monitor machine operation to catch tool wear, vibration, or quality issues before they become scrap
Maintain accurate production logs, inspection records, and quality documentation
Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on assigned equipment
Keep your work area clean, organized,



and compliant with safety standards (5S practices)
Collaborate with programmers, quality, and supervisors to solve problems and improve processes

Required:
Proven experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes (or a completed machining program with hands-on training)
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling, and material properties
Solid attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [XX] lbs

Preferred:
Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Siemens controls
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
Certification in machining or manufacturing technology (NIMS or equivalent)
Experience with GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Experience in a high-mix, low-volume or AS9100/ISO 9001 setting

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
