Lead design and development of tractor implements and farm machinery such as cultivators, ploughs, rotavators, seeders, planters, harrows, tillers and mowers.
Manage concept development, 3D modeling, 2D drawings, assemblies, BOM/EBOM and design release.
Ensure proper integration with tractor 3-point linkage, PTO, hydraulics and hitching systems.
Lead prototype development, testing, validation and field trials.
Conduct design calculations, load analysis, DFMEA, tolerance analysis and design reviews.
Resolve design and field issues through RCA, corrective actions and design improvements.
Drive VA/VE, cost optimization, weight reduction and product improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with R&D;, Testing, Quality, Manufacturing, SCM, Suppliers and Service teams.
Conduct competitor benchmarking and technology evaluation for current implement development.
Manage engineering changes, drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
Lead and mentor the Implements Design team and ensure timely completion of development projects.
