Job Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
Conduct refraction and prescribe appropriate spectacles/contact lenses as per clinical guidelines.
Perform preliminary eye screening and identify potential ocular conditions.
Assist Ophthalmologists during patient examination and pre/post-operative procedures.
Counsel patients regarding eye care, spectacles, contact lenses and recommended treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Handle optometry equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Support OPD, eye camps and hospital/clinic activities when required.
Coordinate effectively with doctors, reception and other hospital departments.
Maintain professional standards, patient safety and excellent patient experience.

Eligibility
B.Optom / B.Sc.



Optometry / Diploma in Optometry or equivalent qualification.
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Good communication and patient-handling skills preferred.
Candidates with hospital/eye-care experience will be an added advantage.
