Role Description The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, responsible for overseeing day-to-day hotel operations during assigned shifts. This role ensures smooth functioning of front-of-house activities, including guest check-in and check-out, handling reservations, and managing guest queries and complaints with timely resolutions. The Duty Manager coordinates with housekeeping, food and beverage, security, and other departments to maintain service quality and operational efficiency. They monitor staff performance, support team members during busy periods, and ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety standards, and brand guidelines. The role also involves preparing shift reports,



tracking occupancy and revenue-related metrics, and assisting with training and mentoring frontline staff.
Qualifications
Strong guest service and customer relationship skills, with the ability to manage complaints and maintain a skilled, solution-oriented approach.
Operational management capabilities, including shift supervision, coordination across departments, and attention to detail in daily hotel processes.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and provide clear guidance to staff.
Problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle high-pressure situations.
Prior experience in hotel operations or hospitality management, preferably in a supervisory or duty manager role.
Basic understanding of front office systems, reservation platforms, and standard hotel procedures.
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
