We are looking for an experienced skilled from the packaging industry with expertise in rigid box design and costing.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand customer requirements, artwork, and packaging designs.
Develop custom rigid box designs based on client specifications.
Analyze box structures, materials, and manufacturing requirements.
Prepare accurate costing and quotations based on design, dimensions, materials, and production processes.
Coordinate with the production and sales teams to ensure feasibility and cost optimization.
Suggest creative packaging solutions while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Create technical specifications and production guidelines for approved designs.
Required Skills:
Experience in the packaging industry, preferably in rigid boxes.
Strong understanding of box structures, materials, board specifications, and finishing processes.
Ability to interpret customer-provided designs and convert them into production-ready specifications.
Knowledge of costing, material consumption, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in packaging design software such as CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, ArtiosCAD, or similar tools.
Valuable problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of experience in rigid box packaging design and costing.
Experience handling luxury, gift, cosmetic, electronics, or premium packaging projects.
