Role Description The Steward role is a full-time, in office position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the dining and service areas, including clearing tables, handling dishwashing, and organizing cutlery, crockery, and glassware. The role includes supporting food and beverage service by refilling water, assisting servers, and ensuring that all service stations are stocked and ready. The steward follows company standards for safety and sanitation, reports any maintenance or hygiene issues,



and collaborates with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations. The position may involve assisting with basic food preparation, setting up for service, and participating in training to improve service quality.
Qualifications
Strong Customer Service orientation and effective Communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and basic Food Service practices in a hospitality or restaurant workplace.
Ability to participate in and benefit from Training related to hygiene, safety, and service standards.
Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry service items, and work adaptable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic education and proficiency in local languages; working knowledge of English is beneficial.
