Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. This full time, in office role in Tiruvallur involves preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, managing inventory-related accounting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements. The Senior Accountant will review and improve financial processes, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide financial insights to management for decision-making. The role also includes supervising junior accounting staff, coordinating with external auditors,



and maintaining accurate financial records aligned with company policies.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger accounting, and financial statement preparation.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
Familiarity with taxation, statutory compliances, and audit processes relevant to manufacturing or trading businesses.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; ability to work with ERP systems is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA/CPA/ICWA partial or completed) is a plus.
Minimum of 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, building materials, or related industries.
Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations, sales, and management teams.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
