Position Description: We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Executive to drive strategic growth in the India Global Capability Center (GCC) segment for CGI. The ideal candidate will have deep industry connections, especially within GCCs and relevant bodies like NASSCOM, and a strong understanding of IT services. This role demands a proactive networker, a strategic thinker, and a relationship builder who can position our offerings effectively to decision-makers in GCCs.

Responsibilities:
• Strategic GCC Engagement: Identify and develop high-impact relationships with CXOs, Heads of GCCs, and transformation leaders across sectors including manufacturing, retail, BFSI and healthcare,
• Account Strategy & Growth: Lead account planning and growth strategies for GCC clients, focusing on long-term partnerships and multi-service engagements.
• Solution Leadership: Collaborate with delivery, pre-sales, and practice teams to co-create tailored IT service solutions (e.g., cloud, cybersecurity, automation, data & AI) aligned with GCC priorities.
• Market Intelligence & Advisory:



Track GCC trends including new center setups, leadership movements, and strategic shifts to identify business opportunities.
• Executive-Level Communication: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business cases to senior stakeholders.
• Pipeline & Forecasting: Own the sales pipeline for GCC accounts, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely follow-ups, and closure of strategic deals.
• Industry Representation: Actively participate in GCC forums (ex: NASSCOM), roundtables, and leadership summits to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership. Must-Have

Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in IT services business development, with a strong focus on GCC clients.
• Proven track record of engaging with senior GCC stakeholders and industry bodies like NASSCOM.
• Deep understanding of enterprise IT services and GCC operating models.
• Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven sales reporting. Good-to-Have

Skills:
• Existing network of senior contacts within top GCCs in India.
• Experience in consultative and solution-based selling to GCCs.
• Familiarity with GCC maturity models, innovation hubs, and transformation agendas.
