Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate ledgers, processing invoices, recording expenses, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. The role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and credit card statements, assisting with budgeting and cash-flow planning, and supporting tax preparation and statutory compliance. The Accountant will also collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights that support project planning, cost control, and overall business decisions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, requiring regular coordination with the design and operations teams. Qualifications




• Solid foundation in accounting principles, including experience with general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting and financial software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools), as well as strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
• Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking, preferably with exposure to project-based or design-related businesses.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit support processes relevant to operations in Pune City and India.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Demonstrated integrity, professional ethics, and a willingness to adapt in a creative, design-driven working workplace.
