Role Description The Consultant Manufacturing Excellence will work on-site in Rajkot in a full time capacity, partnering closely with manufacturing clients to improve operational performance. This role involves mapping current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and designing optimized workflows and SOPs across production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain. The consultant will analyze data from manufacturing systems and ERP platforms, develop and implement improvement projects, and track performance through defined KPIs. Daily activities include conducting plant visits, facilitating discussions with cross-functional teams, preparing analytical reports and presentations,



and supporting change management and capability-building initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with client leadership and shop-floor teams to ensure sustainable, measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, quality, and delivery. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing operations, production planning, and process optimization; experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred.
• Exposure to Supply Chain Management, including inventory control, procurement coordination, logistics, and demand planning within a manufacturing context.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems used in manufacturing environments, with the ability to interpret and leverage system data for decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field; a postgraduate degree in management or operations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools to derive insights and recommendations.
• Ability to work on-site with client teams, build trust at all levels of the organization, and facilitate workshops, reviews, and training sessions.
• Clear and structured communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex findings in a simple, actionable manner.
• Prior consulting or manufacturing industry experience, particularly with SMEs, and familiarity with change management and performance improvement projects is beneficial.
