About the Role
We're looking for an AI / Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys building from the ground up and turning ambitious ideas into working products. We've already built a live product spanning consumer-facing research experiences, brand dashboards, admin tools and a robust backend. We're now entering our next chapter: deeply integrating AI into the core platform to make consumer research faster, smarter and more scalable. You'll work directly with the founders and product team to build AI-powered capabilities across the platform. This is a greenfield AI build on top of an existing product, with plenty of scope to shape the architecture and direction. What you'll be building:
• Designing and building agentic AI workflows that automate complex, multi-step processes.
• Integrating LLMs into a live production application with real users and real data.
• Working with a PostgreSQL backend, reading from and writing to existing database schemas programmatically.




• Building conversational AI interfaces and intelligent research assistants for business users.
• Creating AI-driven data analysis, insights and reporting capabilities.
• Implementing human-in-the-loop review systems with configurable levels of AI autonomy. What We're Looking For
•

Experience:
1–3 years of relevant experience in backend, full-stack or AI engineering.
• Solid backend or full-stack development skills, with proficiency in Node.js or Python, REST APIs and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, context management and error handling.
• Understanding of agentic AI patterns, including multi-step workflows, tool use, confidence scoring and graceful fallbacks.
• Comfortable working within an existing codebase and database schema.
• A bias towards shipping. You take ownership of features end to end, think independently and can turn ideas into working products. Bonus Points
• Experience in market research, survey design or consumer insights.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, cross-tabs, significance testing or sentiment analysis.
• Experience building systems that degrade gracefully through fallback logic, escalation paths and confidence thresholds.
