Company Description KUMARS FORGE & VALVES PVT. LTD. is a specialized manufacturer of industrial valves ranging from 1/2" to 24" and designed for high-pressure applications up to #4500. The company focuses on advanced materials such as alloy steels including Monel, Hastelloy, and Inconel to meet demanding operating conditions. It produces both forged and cast valves, serving industries that require high reliability and performance. An in-house forge shop supports integrated production, quality control, and customization capabilities. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Design Engineer role based in Khed. The Senior Design Engineer will lead the design and development of specialized industrial valves, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing engineering designs and drawings, performing calculations, selecting materials, and collaborating with production, quality, and procurement teams. The role involves using CAD tools to develop detailed models, optimizing products for manufacturability, and supporting troubleshooting and design improvements on existing valve lines. The Senior Design Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to engineering standards,



and support customer-specific design requirements and technical documentation. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design, with experience in developing industrial components or valves.
• Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering skills, including knowledge of materials, stress analysis, and manufacturing processes such as forging and casting.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, drafting, and preparation of detailed engineering drawings.
• Candidates should possess appropriate Engineering awareness when applicable to valve actuators, instrumentation, or integrated systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Relevant experience in valve design, pressure equipment, or heavy engineering manufacturing is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to valves and pressure-containing components.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in a cross-functional workplace.
