Paripoorna Exports is a Tumkur-based woven garment manufacturer with 240+ employees, specializing in shirts for international buyers. We’re scaling our direct FOB export business and building the merchandising desk from the ground up — this role owns buyer accounts end to end, from costing through shipment, with real ownership and room to grow as the function expands.

Role Description

This is a full time Merchandiser role based in Tumkur, owning assigned buyer accounts from inquiry to shipment. You will prepare FOB cost sheets (fabric, trims, CMT, overheads, margin), source and approve trims and fabric, and manage the sampling cycle — proto, fit, SMS, and size sets — against buyer tech packs. Day to day you’ll run the TNA calendar, follow up with production and the sampling room to hold delivery dates, coordinate lab dips and strike-offs, handle buyer correspondence on fit comments and approvals, and track orders through to inspection and dispatch (including coordinating with the buyer’s QA/third-party inspection). You’ll maintain order files and keep costing, approval,



and shipment records accurate and current.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in woven garment/textile export merchandising, with shirts experience strongly preferred (this is a senior role — candidates below 5 years will not be considered).
Able to build an FOB cost sheet independently and negotiate it with buyers.
Hands-on with the full sampling cycle — proto to size set — and reading/working from buyer tech packs.
Comfortable running a TNA/production calendar and chasing delivery dates across sampling, production, and fabric/trim sourcing.
Direct buyer correspondence experience over email (fit comments, approvals, order confirmations).
Working knowledge of export documentation and shipment flow (PI, PO, lab dips, inspection, dispatch).
Robust Excel for cost sheets and order trackers.
Diploma/degree in apparel, textiles, fashion technology, or commerce (NIFT/apparel-institute background a plus).
