Role Description This is a full time, on-site Proofreader role based in Delhi, India. The Proofreader will review manuscripts and other written materials to identify and correct errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting before publication. Responsibilities include ensuring consistency with house style guidelines, checking the accuracy of language and terminology, and providing clear feedback to editors and authors.



The role involves collaborating with the editorial team to meet production deadlines, maintaining organized records of changes, and supporting quality control across print and digital content.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Spelling and Grammar for accurate text review.
Candidates should possess advanced Proofreading skills to identify inconsistencies and errors.
Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to provide constructive feedback to authors and editors.
Candidates should possess Translation skills for reviewing and adapting content between languages, where required.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work in office in Delhi, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in publishing or editorial roles is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
