Role Description The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed HVAC drawings and layouts for building projects using CAD and related drafting tools. Day-to-day tasks include developing ducting and piping drawings, creating and updating shop drawings, coordinating HVAC layouts with other MEP disciplines, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and local codes. The role involves working closely with HVAC engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve design conflicts and maintain accurate drawing records. This is a full time,



in office role based in Mumbai, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues and project stakeholders in the office and, when needed, at project sites.

Qualifications
Ability to prepare and revise HVAC and ducting drawings, including detailed layouts and sections.
Experience with HVAC design principles and understanding of system components and capacity requirements.
Skills in MEP coordination to align HVAC layouts with electrical, plumbing, and structural drawings.
Proficiency in creating, updating, and organizing HVAC shop drawings for construction and installation.
Strong CAD skills (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar), with attention to accuracy and drawing standards.
Understanding of relevant codes and standards related to HVAC and building services.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical qualification.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Previous experience in an MEP consultancy or HVAC contracting environment is an advantage.
