We are looking for a WordPress Developer to support website development and maintenance across accounts. The role involves building responsive web pages, implementing approved website requirements, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality website experience. You will work closely with the design and project teams to bring website requirements to life.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain WordPress pages, templates and reusable components.
Translate approved designs into responsive website experiences.
Customize themes and implement suitable plugins based on project requirements.
Support content updates, forms and approved integrations.
Troubleshoot layout, functionality and compatibility issues.
Improve page performance and follow agreed accessibility and technical SEO requirements.
Test changes across relevant browsers and devices.
Follow version control, staging, backup and release processes.
Maintain transparent documentation and coordinate delivery with the project manager.
What we’re looking for
Hands-on WordPress development experience with a relevant portfolio.
Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Experience with theme customization, plugins and responsive development.
The ability to investigate plugin conflicts and website defects.
Familiarity with Git and staging-based development workflows.
Attention to quality, maintainability and delivery timelines.
