Job Description:

Position: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Palej - Bharuch

Experience: 5 - 7 Years

Industries: Packaging

Responsibilities:
Handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of polymer knitting machines, circular knitting machines, and extrusion lines.
Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs, PLCs, temperature controllers, heaters, sensors, electrical panels, MCCs, and PCCs.
Manage HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, 11 KV power distribution, and DG sets.
Coordinate with mechanical maintenance teams for extruders, gearboxes, compressors, chillers, and other equipment.
Ensure smooth functioning of plant utilities, including air compressors, cooling towers, and chillers.
Plan maintenance schedules and minimize machine downtime through effective troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Supervise electricians, technicians, and contract manpower and allocate daily maintenance activities.
Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection checklists, and equipment history.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures,



LOTO, statutory requirements, and applicable ISO standards.
Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, repairs, AMC, and spare-parts management.
Identify energy-saving prospects and implement maintenance improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance, VFDs, PLCs, and electrical panels.
Understanding of HT/LT systems, transformers, and DG sets.
Experience in extrusion and knitting machines preferred.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
Valuable communication, problem-solving, and team-handling skills.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Electrical

Salary: - Upto 8.00 LPA
