Job Description

We are hiring a Purchase Executive for our solar mounting structures manufacturing and solar BOS supply business. The candidate will handle supplier sourcing, price negotiation, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up to ensure materials are available on time.

Key Responsibilities
Source suppliers for aluminium profiles, steel materials, fasteners, FRP products, solar BOS components, and consumables.
Obtain quotations, prepare price comparisons, and negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Check stock and purchase requirements with stores and production teams.
Prepare purchase orders with correct specifications, quantities, prices, and terms.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve shortages, damaged materials, and replacements.
Coordinate with stores, production, quality, and accounts for material receipt and invoice verification.
Maintain vendor details, purchase records, and pending order reports in Excel or ERP.




Develop alternative suppliers and control purchase costs while maintaining quality.

Candidate Requirements
Diploma or degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of purchase experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or the solar industry.
Positive negotiation, communication, and supplier follow-up skills.
Working knowledge of Excel, purchase orders, GST invoices, and ERP systems.
Ability to understand material specifications and basic technical drawings.
Tamil and English communication skills preferred.
Responsible, organised, and able to manage multiple purchase requirements.

Preferred Experience: Procurement of aluminium extrusions, steel, fasteners, electrical items, or solar components.
