Role Overview

ZENFIXD is looking for talented, creative, and reliable freelance web developers to join our growing project-based development network.

As a contractual web developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering websites for clients based on their specific requirements.

This is a project-based engagement rather than a full-time employment opportunity. Developers will be assigned projects according to their technical skills, availability, and project requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Development

- Develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly websites for businesses, startups, and individuals.
- Convert project requirements, wireframes, and design references into functional websites.
- Build websites that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Implement website features according to the agreed project scope.
- Ensure websites follow modern web development practices and standards.

Frontend Development
- Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable frontend components.
- Implement responsive layouts and interactive user interfaces.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frontend frameworks.
- Ensure websites are visually consistent with the approved design and branding.
- Optimize website performance, loading speed, and user experience.

Backend Development (Where Required)
- Develop server-side functionality and APIs.




- Implement forms, authentication, databases, and other required functionality.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services when needed.
- Ensure appropriate validation and basic security practices.

Testing and Quality Assurance
- Test websites across common browsers and screen sizes.
- Identify and resolve bugs, broken links, layout issues, and functional errors.
- Ensure the final website meets the agreed requirements.
- Perform basic SEO-friendly technical implementation, including semantic HTML, metadata, and appropriate heading structures.

Project Delivery
- Follow project deadlines and agreed milestones.
- Communicate progress and report any development challenges.
- Submit source code and other project deliverables as agreed.
- Make revisions within the agreed scope.
- Coordinate with the ZENFIXD project manager or designated contact throughout the project.

Required Skills

Candidates should have proficiency in one or more of the following:

- HTML5 and CSS3
- JavaScript
- Responsive web design
- React.js or other modern frontend frameworks
- WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python
- Database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Git and GitHub
- Website deployment and hosting platforms

Candidates do not need to possess every skill listed. Developers with specialized skills in frontend development, backend development, WordPress, or e-commerce development are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience developing websites or web applications.
- A portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Familiarity with website performance optimization.
- Understanding of basic SEO principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines.

Contractual Engagement and Compensation

This is a freelance, project-based contractual role.

Developers will be compensated according to the scope, complexity,



and requirements of each assigned project.

The payment structure will be determined and agreed upon before the commencement of every project.

Depending on the project, compensation may be structured as:

- Fixed payment for a complete website.
- Milestone-based payments for larger projects.
- Separate payments for additional features or work outside the original scope.

There is no fixed monthly salary associated with this role.

Projects will be assigned based on developer availability, technical expertise, client requirements, and project budget.

Project Workflow

1. ZENFIXD receives a website development requirement from a client.
2. The project scope, timeline, and budget are defined.
3. A suitable freelance developer is selected.
4. The developer receives the project requirements and agreed deliverables.
5. Development begins according to the approved timeline.
6. The project is reviewed and tested.
7. The completed website is delivered to the client.
8. The developer receives payment according to the agreed contractual terms.
