Title: Founding Engineer

Location: Remote (US or EU time zones) or San Francisco

Reports to: Founder

Compensation: $160,000–$210,000 base salary + 2–4% equity

Experience Required: Substantial hands-on experience building and operating production systems

A platform for AI agent development, hiring its first employee. The platform spans Go backend services, React/TypeScript, Python and JavaScript SDKs, an open-source AI app store, container runtimes, GPU scheduling, billing, authentication, real-time streaming, team workspaces and agent skills/plugins.

The Role

- We are looking for a Founding Engineer to take significant ownership of the product and technical direction.
- You will work directly with the founder, ship features end-to-end, operate production systems, and set the engineering culture as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work directly with the founder to shape product and technical direction.
- Ship features end-to-end and make architectural decisions.
- Operate production systems and debug issues across Go, React and Python.
- Improve GPU scheduling and container runtime performance.
- Redesign SDKs and ship customer-requested features.
- Collaborate with design partners to define current builds.
- Establish engineering culture as the company grows.

What We're Looking For

- Substantial hands-on experience building and operating production backend systems in Go.
- Practical experience with Linux, containers, networking or low-level infrastructure.
- Built distributed services, concurrent systems or scalable infrastructure.




- Hands-on with TypeScript/React and Python alongside backend engineering.
- Independently built, deployed, debugged and maintained production services.
- Made technical design decisions and owned significant components or systems.
- Located in, or able to work effectively across, US/EU time zones.

Must Haves:

- Founding engineer, early engineering hire (first 5–10 engineers) or startup founder.
- Experience with cgroups, namespaces, container runtimes, Docker internals or Kubernetes.
- Experience with LLM platforms, AI agents, model serving, inference or AI orchestration.

Tech Stack:

- Core: Go, TypeScript, React, Python
- Platform: Python and JavaScript SDKs, Linux, container runtimes, GPU/CUDA infrastructure, real-time streaming
