About the Company

Decimal is a US-based residential property investment and operations business. It has built proprietary AI technology to manage its property portfolio and is now expanding this capability through Wellrun, a platform designed to manage properties for other owners and investors.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Director of Operations to work directly with the founders and build a scalable, AI-enabled property operations business.

The person will own day-to-day operations, build and manage human and AI-powered teams, establish processes, maintain service quality and ensure operational efficiency as the business scales.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a purely strategic or advisory position.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end property operations and service delivery.
- Build, hire, train and manage human teams.
- Design operational workflows and SOPs.
- Implement and manage AI agents for recurring operational tasks.
- Monitor AI output, identify errors and continuously improve performance.
- Manage leasing, tenant communication and rent follow-ups.
- Coordinate maintenance, contractors and local service partners.
- Manage property onboarding and owner reporting.
- Monitor service quality, productivity and cost per property.




- Work directly with founders to scale operations without compromising service quality.

Must-have Requirements

- 8–15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience managing business operations or service delivery.
- Proven experience hiring, training and leading teams.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and automation.
- Solid analytical, communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to take ownership and independently solve operational problems.
- Strong understanding of operational costs, productivity and service quality.

Preferred Qualifications

- US residential property management or real estate operations.
- Experience managing remote teams serving US customers.
- Experience deploying AI agents in live business workflows.
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, tenants or property owners.
- Startup, business operations or service delivery leadership experience.
- Familiarity with AppFolio, Rent Engine, Notion and Slack.

Selection Process

1. Initial recruiter screening.
2. Practical assessment.
3. Founder interview.
4. One-month paid part-time trial (approximately 20 hours/week, 2 lakh).
5. Full-time transition subject to successful trial and mutual agreement.
