Role Description The Research and Development Project Manager will lead end-to-end R&D; initiatives, from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with UNIQA’s digital transformation and AI-driven solution strategies. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Kota, India Metropolitan Area and involves planning, executing, and monitoring R&D; projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and coordinating cross-functional teams such as product development, engineering, and business stakeholders. The person in this position will oversee the research of current technologies and methodologies, translate findings into actionable product and process improvements, and manage risk and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include defining project scope and objectives, establishing measurable outcomes,



preparing project documentation and reports, and presenting status updates and results to leadership and clients. The role also entails continuous improvement of project management practices, supporting innovation culture within the team, and ensuring that solutions meet quality, compliance, and performance standards. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D;) and Product Development skills, with experience turning research insights into practical solutions or features.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery of complex technology projects.
• Candidates should possess well-developed Analytical Skills and Research abilities to evaluate data, assess feasibility, validate assumptions, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with digital transformation, AI-driven applications, or software development environments, preferably within insurance or related domains.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and present technical concepts in an accessible manner.
• Relevant qualifications may include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business, or a related field, along with prior experience in an R&D; or innovation-focused role.
