– Senior Quality Engineer (Payments | North American Banking | 7+ Years) Job Title: Production Support -WebSphere, Sql Position: SSE

Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore Mode of Work: Hybrid (3 Days WFO)
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server environments.
• Deploy and manage Java/J2EE applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Configure and manage clusters, nodes, application servers, and deployment managers.
• Monitor WebSphere performance and tune JVM parameters for optimal application performance.
• Troubleshoot application server issues, deployment failures, and connectivity problems.
• Configure security, SSL certificates, authentication, and authorization settings.
• Perform WebSphere patching,



migrations, and version upgrades. SQL Server Database Administration
• Install, configure, and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Manage database security, user access, roles, and permissions.
• Implement and support SQL Server High Availability solutions such as Always On Availability Groups, Clustering, and Replication.
• Conduct database capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis. Production Support & Operations
• Provide L2/L3 support for production systems and databases.
• Monitor application and database health using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within agreed SLA timelines.
• Support release management, environment setup, and deployment activities.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution. Automation & Monitoring
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Shell Scripting, or Python.
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting for application and database environments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and support runbooks. Required Skills WebSphere
• Strong experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE application deployment and support.
• Experience with WebSphere clustering, node management, and JVM tuning. Your future duties and responsibilities Skills
• Understanding of SSL, security configurations, and application server administration.
• Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 administration.
• Expertise in backup/recovery,

• Strong T SQL scripting and troubleshooting skills.
• Unix/Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Shell Scripting, PowerShell, or Python automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or OEM.
