Role Description The Design Engineer will work full time in office in Bijapur, contributing to engineering design and development across BIW process engineering, digital manufacturing, and civil/structural projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and refining 2D and 3D designs and models, performing layout and feasibility studies, and supporting process planning and optimization for manufacturing and construction projects. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing technical requirements, and preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation aligned with project standards. The Design Engineer will also assist in simulations,



validation activities, and design reviews to ensure accuracy, safety, and cost-effectiveness, while supporting project timelines and quality targets. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong design skills in 2D and 3D CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia, or similar) and be able to produce accurate engineering drawings and models.
• Candidates should possess skills in BIW process engineering or manufacturing design, such as process planning, line balancing, and familiarity with digital manufacturing or robotic simulation tools.
• Candidates should possess structural and civil design skills, including basic knowledge of structural analysis, building layouts, and construction detailing for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Candidates should possess project documentation and technical communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, BOQs/estimations, and clear technical specifications.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail, precision in engineering calculations, and a focus on quality and safety.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams and manage tasks to meet timelines and project milestones.
• Prior internship or industry experience in automotive BIW, manufacturing engineering, or construction projects will be considered an advantage.
