Pashan, Pune, Maharashtra (In office Only) Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM IST Experience Required: 6+ Years in US Residential & Commercial Solar PV Design Ideal Candidate Profile
• Proven experience in US Residential and Commercial Solar PV Design
• Ability to independently create accurate, permit-ready solar designs
• Strong knowledge of NEC, AHJ, utility, and manufacturer requirements
• High design accuracy, ownership, and accountability Job Requirements
• Minimum 6 years of experience in US Residential and Commercial Solar PV Design
• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC
- USA)
• Experience with California/Bay Area solar PV and energy storage permitting preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Solar certifications preferred Strong understanding of:
• Solar PV system design
• Energy Storage System (ESS) design
• Electrical layouts and single-line diagrams
• Permit documentation
• Construction-ready drawings Software ExperienceHands-on experience with:
• AutoCAD 2012 or newer
• HelioScope
• PVsyst
• Aurora Solar
• Solar design software tools
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Adobe PDF tools

Key Responsibilities
• Review site survey documents and provide feedback to survey teams.
• Create residential and commercial solar PV permit plan sets.
• Design rooftop, ground-mount, and energy storage projects.
• Prepare:
• Site plans
• Equipment layouts




• Electrical layouts
• Single-line diagrams
• Installation details
• Permit documentation
• Ensure designs comply with:
• NEC requirements
• Utility standards
• AHJ requirements
• Manufacturer specifications
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and installation readiness.
• Modify drawings based on project requirements.
• Support design standardization and documentation improvements.
• Perform shade studies and energy production calculations using PVsyst and HelioScope.
• Provide technical support to project management, installation, and service teams.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, utilities, and AHJs.
• Support asset management and field execution. Preferred Equipment KnowledgeExperience with:
