Role Description The Design Engineer/Draftsman is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal, responsible for supporting the design and detailing of bridge bearings, expansion joints, seismic systems, and related structural components. Daily tasks include preparing detailed engineering drawings using CAD software, creating design layouts and assembly drawings, and updating documentation in line with project requirements and industry standards. The role involves collaborating with project engineers and production teams,



reviewing technical specifications, and ensuring designs meet mechanical, structural, and safety criteria. The Design Engineer/Draftsman will also assist in design revisions, bill of materials preparation, and coordination with quality and fabrication departments to ensure accurate implementation on the shop floor. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to translate concepts into precise technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to bridge bearings, expansion joints, and heavy fabrication components.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Understanding of Electrical Engineering aspects related to infrastructure and mechanical systems (basic level or coordination exposure).
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in infrastructure, structural, or heavy fabrication projects is highly beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
