Role Description The Fundraising Consultant is a flexible, remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing fundraising strategies to support CLSSBE’s educational initiatives. Daily activities include identifying and cultivating individual and institutional donors, conducting prospect research, and managing annual and planned giving campaigns. The role involves preparing compelling proposals, impact reports, and communication materials that align with the society’s mission and funding priorities. The Fundraising Consultant will collaborate with program and leadership teams to develop philanthropic partnerships, track fundraising performance, and ensure ethical,



transparent stewardship of contributions. The position also requires regular online meetings, data management, and adherence to fundraising best practices and compliance standards. Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in Fundraising and Philanthropy, with a track record of securing funds from diverse sources.
• Proficiency in Annual Giving strategies, including donor cultivation, retention, and campaign management.
• Knowledge of Planned Giving approaches, such as legacy gifts and structured giving programs.
• Strong Prospect Research skills, including donor profiling, data analysis, and use of fundraising databases or CRM tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft transparent proposals and donor outreach content.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities, including planning, prioritization, and meeting deadlines in a remote setting.
• Understanding of education, social impact, or nonprofit sectors, with a commitment to inclusive and accessible learning.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate virtually with diverse stakeholders, and maintain high ethical standards in fundraising activities.
