Maintenance & Repair : Identifying electrical malfunctions and repairing or replacing damaged parts in systems and machinery.
Safety & Compliance : Inspecting systems to ensure compliance with national electrical codes and safety standards.
Diagnostic Troubleshooting : Using testing devices like multimeters and voltmeters to locate problems.
Planning : Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan wiring layouts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or GED, plus completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or technical school degree.
Licensing : State-required electrician license or certification.
Technical Knowledge :
Solid understanding of electrical theory, safety protocols, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
Physical Aptitude : Ability to work in confined spaces, stand for long periods, and lift
