Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a highly accurate and detail-oriented MEP Estimation Engineer to support our sales, estimation, and project execution teams. The candidate will be responsible for preparing precise, timely, and commercially competitive project estimates, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and techno-commercial proposals.

The ideal candidate will bring solid exposure to MEP contracting, vendor quote comparisons, and rate analysis for industrial, commercial, warehouse, or turnkey projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Quantity Take-off & BOQ Preparation: Perform complete quantity take-offs from MEP drawings (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Rate Analysis & Costing: Conduct unit rate analysis for labor, materials, equipment, and sub-contracting works to build accurate project budgets.
- Tender & Bid Evaluation: Review tender documents, specifications, commercial terms, and scope of work to identify project requirements and potential cost risks.
- Vendor Quotation Comparison: Float inquiries to vendors and subcontractors, obtain quotes, prepare comparative statements (CS), and negotiate prices.
- Techno-Commercial Proposals: Draft explicit,



competitive techno-commercial bids and proposals for submission to clients within tight deadlines.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Sales, Design, and Execution teams to validate site conditions, technical feasibility, and value engineering options.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: [Specify Range, e.g., 38 years] of proven experience in MEP estimation, tendering, or quantity surveying.
- Domain Exposure: Hands-on experience with Electrical/MEP contracting companies handling industrial buildings, warehouses, commercial projects, or turnkey MEP execution.
- Software Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions/cost sheets), AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, cost negotiation skills, and ability to manage tight tender deadlines.
