Role & responsibilities:

1. Typist Blood Centre:

- Perform accurate data entry of blood donor details and blood collection records.

- Maintain blood unit, component preparation and issue-related documentation.

- Prepare labels, reports and other blood centre records.

- Update donor and blood unit information in the laboratory system.

- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all records.

- Coordinate with blood centre technicians and other team members.

- Maintain documentation as per departmental protocols and regulatory guidelines.

1. Typist Laboratory:

- Perform data entry of patient details and laboratory investigation requests.

- Enter and update patient information in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).

- Prepare and maintain laboratory reports and documentation.

- Ensure accuracy of patient records and investigation details.

- Coordinate with laboratory technicians and other departments.

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

- Support routine laboratory documentation and administrative activities.

1. Lab Technician Molecular Biology:

- Perform molecular diagnostic investigations, including PCR and RT-PCR.

- Handle sample processing, nucleic acid extraction and preparation.

- Operate and maintain molecular diagnostic equipment.

- Perform testing as per established laboratory protocols and SOPs.

- Ensure quality control and accuracy of test results.

- Maintain proper documentation and testing records.





- Follow laboratory biosafety and infection control procedures.

1. Lab Technician Transplant Laboratory :

- Perform laboratory investigations related to transplant diagnostics.

- Handle and process donor and recipient samples.

- Perform or assist with HLA typing, crossmatching and antibody testing.

- Operate relevant laboratory equipment and diagnostic systems.

- Follow established SOPs and quality control procedures.

- Maintain accurate test records and documentation.

- Ensure proper sample handling, biosafety and timely processing.

1. Lab Technician Flow Cytometry / Hematology:

- Perform Flow Cytometry investigations, including immunophenotyping.

- Handle and process blood, bone marrow and other relevant samples.

- Perform sample preparation, staining, acquisition and analysis.

- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot Flow Cytometry equipment.

- Assist in the identification of hematological disorders through Flow Cytometry.

- Ensure quality control and accuracy of test results.

- Maintain documentation and follow laboratory safety protocols.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Graduate/Postgraduate with relevant educational qualifications.

- Relevant experience in Laboratory / Diagnostic operations preferred.

- Valuable typing speed, accuracy and computer proficiency.

- Good technical knowledge and documentation skills.

- Strong communication, coordination and attention to detail.

- Diploma in MLT with valid Telangana Paramedical Board registration.
