Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Fixture Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting production fixtures, jigs, and assembly tools to ensure smooth production operations and minimize machine downtime.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production fixtures and jigs.
Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical fixtures used in manufacturing and assembly operations.
Identify and troubleshoot fixture-related problems during production.
Perform fixture setting, alignment, fitting, and adjustments.
Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
Carry out drilling, grinding, filing, and basic fitting operations.
Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic fixtures, where applicable.
Ensure fixtures are in valuable working condition and meet production quality requirements.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve fixture-related issues.




Maintain maintenance records and follow workplace safety procedures.
Support continuous improvement activities to improve fixture performance and productivity.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of mechanical fitting and tools.
Understanding of jigs, fixtures, and assembly tools.
Knowledge of mechanical drawings and measurements.
Familiarity with Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an advantage.
Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing setting.

Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: ITI Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Freshers can apply; experienced candidates will also be considered.
Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn are essential.
