Must haves
10 to 20 years of relevant Mainframe experience.
Robust hands-on experience with z/OS Storage Management covering DASD, SMS and HSM.
Product migration experience from CA tools/software to IBM tools/software.
Knowledge of DFSMS, DFSMSdss, DFHSM and IDCAMS.
Experience with storage replication and backup/recovery tools.
Experience with tape management systems and virtual tape libraries.
Experience with Dell Storage PMAX, VTL, DLM and DD.
Experience with Sync Confirmation, Stop/Suspend Replication and Personality Swap activities.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Nice to have
Experience migrating CA Allocate DASD Space and Placement to IBM TAAM/DFSMS.
Experience migrating CA-1 Tape Management to IBM DFSMSrmm.
Experience migrating CA Disk Backup and Restore to DFSMShsm.
Experience with storage capacity and I/O performance optimisation.
Experience with storage automation and DR/failover activities.
